Tattooed & Black Inspired Wedding Decor

I’d like to introduce you to a company that has been one of my personal favorites over the years.  Little Things Favors is a small business that specializes in favors for weddings, accessories and decorations in addition to party supplies.  While they carry many traditional wedding items they also offer a wide variety of products for alternative brides - if you’re willing to invest in some time to browse their massive inventory.  They are constantly adding new stuff - and I can’t even keep up with their selection - which is impressive to say the least.  In business for 10 years now and based out of Sayreville, New Jersey but they ship both within the good ‘ol USA and worldwide too for those nontraditional couples who are located outside America.  Even their website looks alternative - it breaks away from the standard bridal pastel colors you’ll find on typical wedding sites - as they opt for strong greys, hints of black and touches of hot pink.   But you will have to take at least your hour lunch break to indulge yourself and with a bit of creativity you could customize many of their items to match your wedding.

The black birdcage veil with feathers is a unique find, perfect for so many themes including tattooed brides, steampunk and vintage.  The spray of feathers is accented with a few crystals and sits perfectly with the black netting of the veil. I adore this veil and its probably one of my favorite items they carry. Don’t forget the opera length black gloves and decorate your bouquet with hints of black crystals to complete your ensemble.

After you’ve decked yourself out, it’s time to decorate for your wedding.  Little Things Favors has lots of items to select from, and I’ve just picked out some of my favorites to highlight for you:

Love Rocks Favor Boxes: put candies, engraved rocks, or even their love rocks chocolates in these charming tattoo inspired designed boxes.  Personalize them with your names and dates and wrap with a ribbon color of your choice.  Your guests will love you found a gift to match your theme. To decorate your reception, use the colors of your wedding. In this case we stuck with one of our favorite color palettes: red and black. Hang red kissing balls aka Pomander balls from ceilings, doorways, put around the bases of centerpieces or wrap around chairs or pews with pretty bows.  Roses and rose petals in your colors can line this awesome black aisle runner.  I’ve never seen a black aisle runner until now and I think this adds a beautiful spiritual touch while still adding that rock n’ roll feel to your walk down the aisle (If you don’t like the sentiment, they also sell plain black runners too you could stencil your own words onto).  The crystal red roses would look great at each place setting or decorate them with these cool electric guitar place card holders to escort your guests to their seats.  Finally, capture all the good wishes of your guests with the black birdcage card holder - it could be used as an alternative guestbook, a centerpiece (imagine black crows inside of it - there are many ways to use this with some imagination!) or as a card holder on your sweetheart table to hold gift envelopes.  They also carry little miniature versions of these which hold tea-light candles which is also great for matching decor.

The best part of planning your wedding is shopping for it.  If you’re looking for a wide variety of merchandise that could be worked into any number of alternative wedding themes, I suggest you hop on over to Little Things Wedding Favors and check out what they have to offer.  They are always running weekly sales and specials too - and I guarantee you’ll be pleased with their selection.
